Hey there, I’m Darcie

My mission is to transform the lives of domesticated horses by bringing them back to a more natural, balanced way of living. I believe every horse deserves to thrive in an environment that supports their instinctive needs — one that nurtures their body, mind, and spirit.

Through my work, I aim to bridge the gap between modern horse care and the way nature intended — helping owners create healthier, happier horses from the inside out. Blending modern science with traditional wisdom.

Part of My Story

Once I started learning more, I couldn’t stop.

Where it all began…

My fascination with equine nutrition began back in 2021, when I landed my first professional horse gig — working with a team of beautifully bred endurance Arabians.

Watching these incredible athletes race across challenging terrain sparked a deep curiosity in me. How did these horses perform so well? What was it that kept them strong, sound, and thriving under such demanding conditions?

The answer was clear — nutrition, care, and mindful maintenance. Every detail mattered, from what went into their feed buckets to how they were managed day to day. That experience lit a fire in me, and from that moment on, I was completely hooked on understanding the power of nutrition and how it shapes a horse’s health, performance, and wellbeing.

And then came Big Red aka Finn

The Horse That Changed Everything

Later in 2021, I was given the chance to rescue an abandoned horse — one I had fallen in love with over the fence long before he became mine. He was in poor condition, underweight, and slowly fading away. I knew I couldn’t just walk away.

Bringing him home was both one of the hardest and most rewarding experiences of my life. He challenged me in ways I never expected — teaching me patience, empathy, and the true meaning of resilience. There were tears, setbacks, and countless lessons, but also moments of pure joy and connection.

Through his recovery, I saw firsthand just how powerful nutrition and holistic care could be in transforming a horse’s life. He became my greatest teacher and the reason I dove even deeper into understanding equine health from the inside out.
